Horizon Inspires is an organization dedicated to creating transformative learning opportunities for motivated high school students. Its flagship program, the Horizon Academic Research Program (HARP), is a selective online research experience that connects high school students with university faculty and scholars from institutions like Harvard, MIT, and Yale.

Through HARP, students engage in undergraduate-level research, exploring topics they’re passionate about in areas such as STEM, social sciences, and the humanities. Over a 10–12 week period, participants work closely with mentors to learn research methodology, academic writing, and the structure of scientific inquiry.

By the end of the program, students will have produced a 20-page academic paper, a tangible accomplishment that demonstrates their intellectual growth, dedication, and academic independence.
